After login and startup of the client it show me:
Bad Address "Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
It shows me that the server is Singularity and 115 Players are online at the bottom. But there is no way to connect. I get the same error again and again.

I had the exact same issue. I deleted my old shortcut and made a new one, but this time, I added /server:87.237.38.50 instead of /server:Singularity as it was suggested by other players in this discussion and for some reasons, it worked. I solved it by changing the shortcut on my desktop from "...CCP\EVE\launcher.exe /server:Singularity" to "...CCP\EVE\old_launcher\launcher.exe /server:Singularity". I'll give your solution a try once Singularity is online again. |

CCP Aporia wrote:Noriko Mai wrote:[quote=Fredrick Kalirande][quote=Noriko Mai][...] Are the logs saying anything? No. I launched the logserver, created a new workspace and then launched the new launcher with a desktop shortcut (tried /server:87.237.38.50 and /server:Singularity). No logs.
Another thing is that the launcher starts two processes. One that uses about 3-4 MB RAM and one that goes up to ~145 MB. Closing the launcher (with the X top right) after I logged in doesn't close the processes.
EDIT: It's not terminating the launcher processes after I logged in even if I logout again. |

But it appears that this happens because Singularity was updated with a newer version and we have not published the metadata for the new launcher yet. I am doing this right now.
Sorry for the wrong info.

Now with /server:Singularity and /log:debug:
The launcher redownloaded the last patch (I patched with the old launcher yesterday evening) Still the same Error:
Bad Address "Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
- debug is empty
- cache/launcher.2013.05.04 is > 18 MB. I'm searching something to upload it. Will link it asap
note: i tried it a second time at 2013-05-04 19:23:35,220
- there's no launcher.exe.log in appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.528861-beta.3.win32\
